1 Nephi 7:12

"Yea, and how is it that ye have forgotten that the Lord is able to do all things according to his will, for the children of men, if it so be that they exercise faith in him? Wherefore, let us be faithful to him."
(1 Nephi 7: 12) 

Another scripture about Faith as faith is the first principle of the Gospel of Jesus-Christ. Indeed the only way for us to come back in God's presence is through Faith in Jesus-Christ, then repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and enduring to the end. How important is the first principle so that we can be able to repent more effectively and make all of the other steps!

Another scripture further in the book of Mormon deals with the importance of faith so that we can pray more sincerely and see the miracles of God. This scripture is in 1 Nephi 15:11 : "Do ye not remember the things which the Lord hath said?—If ye will not harden your hearts, and ask me in faith, believing that ye shall receive, with diligence in keeping my commandments, surely these things shall be made known unto you."

"Oui, et comment se fait-il que vous ayez oublié que le Seigneur est capable de tout faire, selon sa volonté, pour les enfants des hommes, s’ils font preuve de foi en lui? Soyons-lui donc fidèles."

(1 Nephi 7: 12)

Une autre ecriture concernant la Foi puisqu'il s'agit du premier principle de l'Evangile de Jesus-Christ. En effet, le seul  moyen de retourner en la presence de Dieu est a travers la foi en Jesus-Christ, puis le repentir, le bapteme, le don du Saint-Esprit et perseverer jusqu'a la fin. O combien ce premier principe est important afin que nous puissions etre capable de se repentir plus efficacement et de passer par toutes les differentes etapes qui suivent!
 

Une autre ecriture un peu plus loin dans le livre de Mormon met en valeur ce principe que represente la Foi, afin que nos prieres soient plus sinceres et afin de voir les miracles de Dieu se produire. Il s'agit de 1 Nephi 15: 11 "Ne vous souvenez-vous pas des choses que le Seigneur a dites: Si vous ne vous endurcissez pas le cœur et me demandez avec foi, croyant que vous recevrez, étant diligents à garder mes commandements, assurément ces choses vous seront révélées?"
